Oh, hunter-killer isn't genitive. That's a different kind of relationship. vIghro' ghu is definitely genitive.

hmm.. This confuses me. 

I thought of writing {vIghro'-ghu} influenced from the "romulan hunter-killer probe".

The way I understood the dash at the "romulan hunter-killer probe", is "a probe which is a hunter and a killer". So I thought of writing {vIghro'-ghu} meaning "a creature which is a cat and a baby".
