I believe it is.  The ending {-ew} isn’t that common either.  I could only find six examples (not counting compounds/noun phrases):

Hew                statue (n)

yelvew texture (n)

lew                  bloom (v)

qew                 use the third (ring) finger (v)

wew                glow (v)
