in star trek vi, there is {tlham chach chu'qa'} for "restoring auxiliary gravity".

tlham chach - gravity's backup

So the phrase is "reactivate gravity's backup".

on the other hand we have {chach Duj} for "ambulance, emergency vehicle".

chach Duj - emergency ship

so I wonder, isn't this contradictory ? shouldn't we have {chach tlham} for "auxiliary gravity" ?

No. Not contradictory.{tlham chach} is a backup of the gravity, while a {chach Duj} is a ship of emergencies. Would a {chach tlham} be the gravity of auxiliaries or the gravity of backups?
