I'd suggest avoiding transliteration, as the author/'original translator' also avoided. (If anything, it would be a transliteration of 'Kuduk':

Maybe instead of *{Ha'bIt}, use a corruption of {QemjIq DabwI'} or {QemjIq renwI'} or {QemjIq chenmoHwI'} ?
