Does anyone remember who suggested the Expedition Trike hypothesis (which I always thought a bit esoteric, though not impossible)?

I'm not sure it's that well-known. I think the pun is a little more blunt, like the others in TKD: {Hoq} + {ra'} = "trek" + "order" = "tricorder"
