Is there any difference between the {puqvaD yajmoH ghojmoHwI'pu'} and {puq luyajmoH ghojmoHwI'}? Or am I right that they mean exactly the same?

Usually, the indirect object of a causative sentence is simply the object, but when you have both a direct and an indirect object, the indirect object gets pushed into having a -vaD on it. These two sentences mean the same thing, but you would generally see it expressed as the latter.
