{chIq} was used in the National Aeronautic & Space Museum tour app (9/2016) in the entry for Lindbergh’s “Spirit of St. Louis” as a verb:

nIteb 'atlantIq bIQ'a' chIqbogh 'orwI' wa'DIch mojta'

he became the first pilot to cross the Atlantic Ocean solo  (NASM)

The New Words list has chIq cross, transverse (v). In English transverse is an adjective. Does this word mean place something across something else, or is the definition a typo for cross, traverse?
