term (since the mean and the average are different things), or
does it actually mean <i>arithmetic mean,</i> and <i>average</i>
is just in there to (imprecisely) guide a layman's understanding
of what a <i>mean</i> is? Or is it some mathematical term that is
somehow both a mean and an average?<br>
