Klingon word: Hen
Part of speech: verb
Definition: be experienced
Source: qep'a' 26 [2019]
_______________________________________________

(qep'a' 2019): "in the sense of involvement in, exposure to, familiarity with, hands-on dealing with a given area of knowledge or type of skill"

(~mark re Dahar Master [DATE?]): I think Okrand didn't mean {pIn'a'} for Master in this sense... one who is knowledgeable in a field. He mentioned once, I think, that he's looking for a better term for this meaning.

CULTURAL NOTES:
(KGT 207): there are some words that simply do not translate. One must resort to descriptions rather than simple one- or two-word translations, and one must be a quite facile in the language and knowledgeable of the culture to understand the concepts.

(KGT 90f): All but the least experienced cooks have {chanDoq} (marinade) prepared well in advance of a meal, keeping a large container of the brew around at all times and constantly adding new ingredients to it as they become available.
