Klingon word: ne'
Part of speech: noun
Definition: jack in a deck of cards
Source: QelIS boqHarmey
_______________________________________________

An expansion of {ne'} "yeoman".

I couldn't find it listed in the new words from http://klingon.wiki/En/AliceInWonderland. Is there any other card-related vocabulary in QelIS boqHarmey?

SEE ALSO:
vey pack [of cards] (n)
'echletHom card (n)
'echletHom vey deck of cards (n)

>From qepHom 2014 we know the four suits on human cards:
meyrI'mey diamonds ["squares"] (n)
pormey hearts ["leaves"] (n)
Sormey clubs. ["trees"] (n)
'eSpeD spades (n)

I always assumed that a jack was another word for prince -- i.e. king, queen, prince -- but we also have {ta'puq} "prince" from The Little Prince.
