Klingon word: cha''etlh
Part of speech: noun
Definition: two-blades
Source: Talk Now! [TNK]
_______________________________________________
I only know it as part of a noun phrase:
cha''etlh pe'wI' scissors (n) (TNK )
cha''etlh DaSwI' tweezer (n) (qep'a' 2020)
(qep'a' 2020): This is considered singular (that is, several pairs of tweezers are {cha"etlh DaSwI'mey}). The word was formed by analogy to {cha"etlh pe'wI'} "scissors", with {DaS} "pinch" replacing {pe'} "cut".
TREK NOTES:
"Truth, Doctor, is in the eye of the beholder. I never tell the truth because I don't believe there is such a thing. That's why I prefer the straight-line simplicity of cutting cloth." (Garak, DS9 "Cardassians")
