Klingon word: ghan
Part of speech: verb
Definition: glance at, take a quick look at
Source: qep'a' 25
_______________________________________________

AFAIK not used in a sentence.

PUN: "take a gander"

DO NOT CONFUSE WITH:
ghan be hectic, very active, lively (v) (qepHom 2016)
ghanHa' be peaceful, calm (v) (qepHom 2016)

SEE ALSO:
legh see (v)
bej watch (v)
nuD examine, look at, inspect (v)
chotlh stare at, gaze at, observe (v)
puS sight (with gunsight) (v)

jorchan view, scene, scenery, sight, landscape (n) (qep'a' 2018)
  - (Lieven < MO's qepHom 2018 Video Interview): The difference between the two is that {jorchan} "refers to the view" of a landscape, "something you look at". It could be a city, a forest or whatever. The word {Hatlh} refers to the countryside where you can walk into. It is somehow the opposite of the city: Some people live in the city, other live on the {Hatlh}.
