Based on the information here:

used in the more neutral sense of "experience" or "undergo", so it's
possible that the object of *SIQ* doesn't have to be something unpleasant.
PUN: In the "xifan hol" digraph-less transcription style, *ng* is written as
"f", making this word "fonder", which is how absence makes the heart grow.
