That part of the book is clearly written by DeSDu', as you mention
yourself, he signed that part.

Anyway, that information is not really so new.

Many years ago (around 2012?), I think it was 'ISqu' who wrote an
analysis of that no' Hol here on the mailing list. That analysis was one
day archived in the Klingon Language Wiki. In the text written by
DeSDu', he refers to that page on the Wiki.

So briefly, the analysis is not canon, but it's a very good analysis of
a canon text of ancient Klingon.
