You're right, but since it was an extended meaning of {botlh}, I gave all of the known examples seeing as there were none for "median". Thanks for providing the translation and revisions from the paq'batlh.

I think all of these given examples refer to botlh in the sense of "centre", not "mathematical median".

At the centre of Sto-vo-kor,
The ancient hearts of honor and wisdom
Beat steady and strong. (PB2, p. 184/185)

In the revised edition, this is:
tagha' tIq Hoch Dochmey qolqoS Hochlogh Dat joqtaHjaj (PB2, p. 108/109)

> bIQtIq qa'rI'Daq pawDI' qeylIS | qojDaq Qam | bIngDaq Qo'noS botlh
> legh It ends at a cliff, Leading straight into the core Of Kronos (PB;
> "it" being the river of flame in the Kri'stak volcano)

In the revised edition, this is:
bIQtIq qa’rI’Daq pawDI’ qeylIS qojDaq Qam bIngDaq Qo’noS SuqSIv legh.
(PB2, p. 98/99)

We learned about {SuqSIv} many yearas after the first paq'batlh.
