I remember..
Some time ago, I wanted to translate the various wind directions for the
wind gods.
And then, I came across the nightmare of having to combine the klingon crap
of {tIng}, {tIng 'ev}, {chan}, {'ev}, etc, to say things like
"north-northeast", "east-southeast", "west-northwest", etc..
Because nooo.. we just can't have normal ways of saying "north", "east",
"south", "west"; instead we have to make something which should be easy
difficult, all in the name of some g**d*** alien fetish, of an "alien"
language which is crawling with terran puns.
But then I said to myself "did you expect anything different"? So I trashed
the whole idea of using this crap, and went with "wind of X degrees
direction".
