The page describing the Email Discussion Group on the KLI server has links
to both the older and current archives.
The newer archives are indeed searchable.

As I understand it, the Sphider search utility indexes the messages, and
short/common words are ignored when creating the index. I don't know any
way to tell it to do a full-text search for words that aren't in the index.
However, you can use Google to search the archives! For the pre-2015
messages, add site:kli.org/tlhIngan-Hol to the search terms. For example:
