Good point. Maybe instead of separating fruits from vegetables, Klingons separate food that can eat you from food that just sits there, waiting passively to be eaten; food you have to fight for, vs. the Klingon equivalent of “fast food”, meaning that it’s less nutritious, less interesting, and less enjoyable, but more convenient, efficient, or distracting from other activities.
