(qepHom 2019 booklet p.11):  {qal'aq} is fine for skeleton if modified ({Hom qal'aq} or {porgh qal'aq}), but a more specific term is heard {nobmeD}. 

(Lieven, klingon.wiki/En/Hamletmachine):  {reStav} is shin, meaning the front of the lower leg. (I assume [the German word] *Schienbein* is "shin bone".  {reStav} is more than just the bone.  The only way Maltz was aware of for referring to the bone is {reStav Hom}.) 

(KGT 75):  Wind instruments (there is no overall term for them) range from the simple flute or fife ({Dov'agh}), generally crafted from a bone

(KGT 95):  A popular effervescent drink, black in color, is called {'awje'} … it is made from, among other things, the marrow ({melchoQ}) taken from the bones of a {teghbat} (*teg'bat*).
