If instead of the {qama''e' qIppu'bogh neH yaS}, we had {qama''e'
qIplu'pu'bogh neH}, would this change anything, with regard to the
translation of this phrase ?

Or would the *only* possible meaning be, "the prisoner who has been merely
hit by someone or something unspecified" ?
