In the first hour, Kahless cut off Molor’s beard  (PB)

Can {chip} be used to trim other things - e.g. prune (plants) – or do we use {poDmoH} ? 

(ghunchu'wI', 6/28/12):  I use {chip}, without hesitation or ironic intent, to describe mowing the lawn.
