Seems reasonable to me.

*paq vIlaDmeH juHwIjDaq jIratlh
*/I stay home to read the book/

*paq vIlaDta'meH juHwIjDaq jIratlh
*/I stay home to finish reading the book/

Though note that, lacking perfective on *jIratlh,* my remaining is not a 
completed action.
