Regarding obtuseness, I have one word for you: *'I'.*

As for dancing to my tune, I didn't ask you to dance or tell you to 
stop. I said I didn't think it was particularly constructive.

If you can go beyond "don't think so," then please demonstrate how you 
know this for a fact.

Daniel was asking for someone to show him an example of an imperative 
with a syntactic suffix that made sense, not to try to find ways to make 
sense out of a combination that doesn't seem to make sense.
