[tlhIngan Hol] Do epithets behave as nouns ?

Epithets are labeled as noun in my notes, but I may have done that years ago.  Could someone check TKD?

Are they? They certainly behave that way, but I don't think it's anywhere stated that they are. It's a reasonable question, especially for someone who hasn't got all the source material in electronic form.
