I'm not fully following you, but I don't think I need to. *Hop* is far 
from whatever the speaker, writer, listener, reader understand it to be 
from. Make it clear what it is far from, then say it's *Hop.*

It would be a lot easier if you would just give us what you're working 
on, with the surrounding text for context.
