Qach “wield, swing (a weapon)” (v)
pe'vIl mupmeH betleH Qach
The Mighty Blow of the Bat'leth (PB; title)
"To wield or swing an ax is Qach." (KGT 63f)
"To wield or swing a club is Qach... To manipulate the 'aqleH is Qach." (KGT 64)
"As with axes, to wield or swing a club is Qach." (KGT 67)
“For the verb whip, make use of Qach wield.” (qep’a’ 2019)
Which is not to say there aren’t specialized words for using specific weapons: {yan} “wield, use or manipulate a sword’ and {chaQ} “thrust upward with end of bat'leth” for example.

At the latest qep'a', we received {Henjun} for "whip" (n).
And we were told, that in order to express "to whip", we could, (or we should ?) use the verb {Qach} "wield or swing (a weapon).
Now, lets forget all these..
Suppose I write:
{tlhIngan qIpmeH, Henjun lo' romuluSngan}
the romulan uses a whip to hit the klingon
It's clear, isn't it ?
But how am I supposed to use {Qach} for that matter ? The only thing which comes to mind is:
{tlhIngan qIpmeH, Henjun Qach romuluSngan}
Is *this* what was meant for "for the verb whip make use of Qach" ?
