Klingon word: HeD
Part of speech: verb
Definition: retreat
Source: TKD

(KGT 48): Common militaristic acts also have associated terminology, both verbs ({DoHmoH}, drive back; {Hub}, defend; {yot}, invade; {weH}, raid ... {HIv}, attack, assault; {Sev}, contain; {HeD}, retreat, withdraw) and nouns ({yot}, invasion, raid, incursion; {Hub}, defense).

(KGT 49): {HeDchu'} ("retreat perfectly") means simply that there is a full withdrawal; though death may occur as part of the retreat, it is not necessarily implied by the verb.
