Really? I don't see your problem. Just look how many latin fonts there 
are. Thousands. Hundreds of thousands. (I'm sure this argumnt also works 
for greek.)

The initial one, created by the KLI in 1989. All of the other fonts are 
basd on that one.

No, not really. If you have learned the basic shape of the font, you can 
read and write all of them.
