It is a helping tool, and a damn fine one at that. The issue here is this:
boQwI' is used primarily by beginners and casual Klingonists, and it's
quite likely that many of them don't even *know* there's any difference
between Okrandian Modern Klingon and what gets used in the show. They just
know there's such a thing as an actual Klingon language and assume all the
Klingon they see and hear is part of it. Having an entry for that sort of
"gibberish Klingon" will help them realize the difference without having to
ask De'vID about it each time something they heard on the show doesn't come
up in the boQwI' search results.
