mev may'; 'e' wuq la', 'a ngugh paS.
the battle stops; the commander decides that, but then it is late.

instead of {wuq} you could use {nID}, for "the commander attempts that",
and of course if you want to express the "too late" concept you can write
{paSqu'}.
