One can theoretically construct some words where there would still be room for confusion:
lIllI (lilli)
lIlIl (lilil)
I expect such words are quite scarce, however.

But with the syllable patterns of cv and cvc, it doesn't matter what font is used.
||| can be only ell eye ell.
If it really is a problem, even with cv/cvc, then have all your tlhIngan Hol email converted to
plain text and select a default font that you like.
