I don’t know why he didn’t: * {Supaq} or even * {SIpaq} work. The real problem for Okrand may well have been how to render “Mister” – a general title used when addressing officers other than the ship’s Captain. {joH}, {qaH} and {yaS} don’t quite work.

Also noteworthy, there is no attempt to transliterate Spock, as there was with {qIrq}. I expect there never will be.
